This is an unusually shaped crystal decanter in a doughnut shape which took a master glassblower to achieve. The clear crystal body is embellished with raised paste gold rope applied symmetrically over the decanter evoking a nautical theme. The base is beautifully decorated with ray cutting that is visible from above. This would be a standout piece on a back bar or in a grouping, placed on tray. The matching original stopper creates a tight fit.  Excellent condition, ca. 1900
