This Minton "Aquarium" series fish service is rare and complete. The celadon green ground contrasts beautifully with the vibrant polychrome decoration. The subjects are both whimsical, humorous and accurate. Typical of the Aesthetic Movement style, the naturalistic underwater scenes capture the fluidity of movement of fish and aquatic life. The set includes 12 plates and a matching footed compote to complete the picture. These are a fabulous decorative element and create a show-stopper table setting.
