This hand blown crystal shell is a large example and very heavy. The internal layer is filled with gold leaf and the outer cased layer is extremely well executed controlled bubbles, in a technique named "Bullicante". Large enough to use as a vase, it is also makes a singular sculptural statement on it's own.
