This is a fabulous dinner service made by Minton for Tiffany with a custom-order red/burgundy border, ready for holiday entertaining! The centre ground is a soft ivory, providing a dramatic contrast to the borders which are decorated in an elegant raised paste gold neoclassical pattern. The three sizes are the most practical pieces in a table setting including 13 of each dinner plates, rimmed soup bowls and dessert plates. The condition is pristine and you have an "extra" for "insurance". This pattern would also pair well with many gold and white patterns as well as cobalt blue, circa 1960. The dinner plates measure 10 5/8", the rimmed soup bowls measure 7 3/4" and the dessert plates measure 7 3/4" D.
