This wonderful Aesthetic Movement hand painted large oval soup tureen is decorated with all-over blue and white seaweed motif with gilded decoration. This one is special for both size, condition and matching under plate. I lovesoup tureens for their versatility as botha  seving piece and centerpiece. Take of the top and fill the bowl with seasonal fruit ordecorations and/or lined and filled with oasis and create an easy flower arrangement. Made in England, ca. 1920's. Excellent condition!
