This elegant and beautifully made silver chest on stand is handcrafted by the renown furniture maker, Kittinger of Buffalo, NY. The Rococo style silver chest superbly copies the original late 18th Century English chest on frame from the Governor's Palace. Clean lines, beautifully matched crotch mahogany veneers and dovetailed drawers are finished with period style solid brass hardware on two drawers, all with fitted Pacific cloth lined interiors. The detail and innovation is apparent in the design: the top is hinged and opens upward and it even has two side candle drawers to make the placement and removal of your silver easier. Each drawer is locked with the accompanying key.
