This extraordinary Salviati centerpiece set is hand blown Venetian glass with hand painted enamel decoration. The custom ordered service is embellished with 18th century-style figures, courtiers, carriages and horses surrounding the borders of each piece in a masterful technique with great detail. The rich cobalt blue provides a strong contrast to the vibrant enamels and exceptional detailed painting. The service consists of the centerpiece, 4 matching candlesticks with detachable bobeches. There are two tall compotes, 4 small rectangular bud vases, and 2 small low compotes and 12 matching chargers dating to  ca.1900. What a unique and dramatic service to use and display!
