This dramatic and unusually shaped vase combines the attributes of both the Art Nouveau subjects with the dimensions and shape evoking the Art Deco period. Hand blown black crystal is hand painted with vibrant polychrome enamel bird, butterfly and flowers on a contrasting black ground. It measures 11" tall x 3 3/4" at the widest point x 3" deep. The rectangular tapered form is decorated with gold borders and trim and the rich enamel colors are vibrant and truly catch your attention. Made in Czechoslovakia, excellent condition commensurate with age, Ca. 1890-1900.
