The discontinued "Algues" pattern produced by Lalique and depicting flowing seaweed is beautiful in its striking simplicity. The raised, molded design and dramatic black color create a stunning and contrasting effect which works beautifully with mid century modern and silver overlay for starters. The large dinner/service plates measure 11" in diameter. French ca. 1950's. No damage and overall excellent condition commensurate with age. Both sets have many plates with original lables- Never Used!!
