A wonderful matched pair of hand blown crystal trumpet shaped vases in a rare Vaseline-yellow colored glass. The complex stem is comprised of a large bubble connector with wafers on the top and bottom, the pontils are polished. Beautifully proportioned, these would be lovely on a mantle or sideboard, filled with flowers or standing alone as sculptural pieces. Attributed to New England Glass Co. they shape is an early precursor of a more well-known Pairpoint pattern vases. Ca. 1870's, 12" tall and 6 3/4" in diameter.
