This is an unusual set of 12 Copeland Spode 19th c. large rimmed soup bowls that have a rare combination of salmon, lemon yellow and two-color raised paste gold. The border is molded and raised, adding to the overall refined design. This elegant yet understated over-sized bowl, also appropriately called a soup plate, is perfectly suited for serving the dinner course, pasta and even desserts. 10 1/4" ca. 1891
