
An exceptional and complete dessert service comprising 14 hand painted plates, each decorated with a large unique and finely painted botanical specimen in the center of each plate, one tall footed compote, 2 low compotes and a gorgeous sauce tureen and stand. Subtly shaped rims are highlighted with an apple green enamel border and intertwined with gold and sepia. The foot rims and borders are also embellished with gold leaf and the serving pieces have multiple botanical specimens. This set is perfect for a dramatic and elegant display and totally usable for an impressive dessert service. The dessert plates measure 9 3/8" in diameter, the low compotes are 8 3/4" d and 2" tall, the tall compote is 8 1/2" d and 5" tall and the sauce tureen is 10" x 5" x 6" tall.
