This pair of rare 19th c Spode Chestnut bowls are in amazing original condition and feature a green enamel leaf motif with pierced border. Each bowl has two handles and basketweave on both the baskets and the matching underplates. Retailed later by Shreve, Crump and Low these are rare to find as pairs, especially in the excellent conditon and vibrant, colorful enamel decoration. Minor wear to the border enamel on the plates but no chips, cracks or structural damage. Amazing condition for their age!
