This porcelain dinner plate by Royal Copenhagen is part of the exceptionally rare Flora Danica Games Series. While most Flora Danica dishes feature one of the native flowers of Denmark, this example boasts a charming sable intricately hand-painted at its center. As with all Flora Danica pieces, this Latin name of the animal, Mustela Zibellina, is written on the reverse. The gilded border is serrated and beaded which also sets this pattern apart. Made in Denmark Ca.1950's Excellent Condition!
