In keeping with the iconic Royal Doulton Arts and Crafts "Poppy" pattern, this is a set of 12 square dessert plates decorated with a variation on the poppy motif. The blank is cream ware with a molded relief of pink flowers framing the four sides highlighted with green enamels. The poppies are hand painted and the centers also include a whimsical crescent moon. Perfect for h'ors d'oeuvres, dessert or even display. Excellent condition, commensurate with age, Ca. 1929
