A beautifulset of 4 Minton hand paited botanical plats in the classic AesthecMOvement style will highlight any cabinet, bookcase or display. These were made exclusively for Messers.Caldwell, Philadelphia and each one is a unique subject featuring flowers, leaves and even a butterfly. As these are numbered, they were probably made to order as a full large set of 24 as one is even got the number 22 on the reverse. The soft and subtle ivory ground is the  subtle backdrop to these elegant subjects. Made in England Ca.1900, they are in excellent condition overall with one which has some crazing on the side. No cracks or chips but for over 100 years old, amazing.
