This is a most complete and impressive set of Capo di Monte "surout de table". Comprising a pair of 3 arm candlesticks, the 8-piece footed low flower arrangers (4 ovals, 4 rectangular)and 2 matching urn-shaped vases make this a most versatile and dramatic centerpiece. Please view all of the pictures for different possible arrangements. Many more combinations are possible depending on the size and shape of your table. Each piece is hand painted and gilded with molded putti in relief. The candlesticks are full-bodied triple figures supporting the 3 arms of the candleholders, centered with a basket of fruit. The marks vary, some with the word Germany, where they may have been imported from. One piece also bears the original Customs label indicating that these were imported and exhibited at the "Century for Progress" Centennial Exhibition in Chicago in 1933. The vases are 6.25" high, 4" diameter, the side pieces are 2.5 high, 7.25" long, the candlesticks are 10.5" high, 8" diameter.
