An outstanding example of Sevres porcelain, this cup and saucer is a rare shape and elegant decoration featuring a combination periwinkle blue with gold over a white ground. The borders are wavy all trimmed in gold and the cup is footed as well. The condition is excellent and quite unbelieveable for its age and design...perhaps never used! There is no gold wear or rubbing! The incised mark is "S" 02 .61 Made in France, excellent condition!
