This is an original S. Kirk sterling silver blotter base with leather back and metal corners attachments. The 4 silver triangles slide over the brackets and the base will accept blotter paper to complete the desk accessory. An unusual and lovely piece to adorn any desk. The Repousse silver is in perfect condition whereas the leather base is worn, commensurate with age. Still a great example!
