"Vieux Paris" set made by CH. Pillivuyt et Cie. of 5 serving pieces which won the Gold Medal at the Paris Exposition in 1876! Rose Du Barry wide borders frame the clean white ground centers and each piece is embellished with an elegant gold monogram of "S W" in the central reserve. The largest platter will accomodate most entrees and the other pieces nest beautiuflly within- The set also includes a gravy boat with attached underplate and a smaller elegant serving piece with sweeping curved handles.
Made in France ca 1867, all in excellent condtion commensurate with age- No structural defects with only the smallest amount of wear to the gold rims.
